The <address> HTML element specifies contact information for the document's author.

SemanticsEdit

The <address> element is intended to be used by authors to supply contact information for a document (or part of a document). Usual locations for this element are the beginning or end of a document.

This element can also be used to supply rich, machine-readable metadata for the author in the form of hCard markup.

This element should not be used to specify addresses (such as street or email) in general.
